
Thomas D. Monte, Jr. Mr. Monte is a partner and founding member of the firm. He was born in Jersey City, New
Jersey, on November 13, 1944. He graduated from Villanova
University with a B.A in 1966. He graduated from Seton Hall
University Law School with a J.D. in 1972. He was admitted to the
New Jersey Bar in 1972; admitted to the U.S. District Court, District
of New Jersey in 1972; admitted to the New York Bar in 1980; and
admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1980. In law school, Mr.
Monte was on the Seton Hall Law Review from 1970-1972. From
1972-1973, he worked as the Law Secretary for the Honorable Lawrence A.
Whipple, U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey. From
1973-1978, Mr. Monte worked for the State of New Jersey as a Deputy
Attorney General. Since 1989, he has been a member of the
Judicial Selection Committee and Civil Practice Committee. He is
a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar
Association, New Jersey Defense Association and the Defense Research
Institute (DRI).
Mr. Monte
has tried over 110 jury trials to verdict. He handles all areas
