
Stephen
A. Rudolph
Mr.
Rudolph is a partner who has been with the firm since 1997. He
was born in the Bronx, New York, on June 2, 1964. From 1982 to
1989, Mr. Rudolph was an active duty member of the United States Air
Force, having been stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio,
Texas, George Air Force Base in Victorville, California, Kadena Air
Base in Okinawa, Japan and Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha,
Nebraska. Mr. Rudolph also served short tours of duty in South
Korea, Germany, Greece, England and the Philippines. Mr.
Rudolph graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in
1989. He graduated from Widener University School of Law with a
J.D. in 1994. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1994;
admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1994; admitted to the U.S. District
Court, District of New Jersey in 1994; admitted to the U.S. District
Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1995; and admitted to the
U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit in 1996. Mr.
Rudolph has been Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a
Certified Civil Trial Attorney. He has tried more than 125 jury
verdicts. Since 2003, Mr. Rudolph has obtained no-cause defense
verdicts in 14 of the 21 counties in New Jersey, establishing a
State-wide presence in New Jersey. He has successfully tried more
than 10 wrongful death cases through verdict and has tried many other
catastrophic injury cases. He is frequently listed as the defense
trial attorney for defense verdicts that have been published in New
Jersey Jury Verdict Review & Analysis and Verdict Search-New Jersey. The following is a short, partial list of the jury

Mr.
Rudolph frequently gives lectures and training seminars to various
groups, corporations and insurance companies on a broad range of topics, including
trial strategy and tactics, product liability, tractor-trailer
litigation, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, economic damages under Green v. Bittner,
conscious pain and suffering, bad faith claims under
Rova Farms, admissibility of testimony and evidence, closed-head
injury claims, “intentional wrong” employer liability claims under Laidlow v. Hariton Machine
Company,
and the use (or non-use) of defense experts. Mr. Rudolph is a member of the Defense
Research Institute (DRI), New Jersey Defense Association and the New
Jersey State Bar Association. Mr.
Rudolph specializes in the defense and trials of complex, large-exposure cases
involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, product liability,
employer liability, dram shop/liquor liability, commercial litigation, tractor-trailer litigation, automobile negligence,
